His dark eyes glistening with excitement, Egypt's young King Farouk sped last week to the Nile Delta. There, on the site of ancient Tanis, Professor Pierre Montet of Strasbourg had discovered the tomb of Psousennes I, second King of the 21st Dynasty (TIME, March 4).
