Taft to Attack
Sirs: Under Education in your issue of Sept. 28, appears an article on the new headmaster of the Taft School, and a brief statement on Horace D. Taft to the effect that Mr. Taft is devoting his vacation in California to his hobbyCivil Service Reform. While the article was not meant as a write-up of Mr. Taft, I do think the true facts of Mr. Taft's interest in the Merit System should be known.
