GREAT BRITAIN: Patriotism, Honor

The ingenious idea of selling bits of the R-101 as souvenirs and thus recouping the huge cost of this wrecked dirigible occurred last week to Englishmen.

Promptly throttled in the name of patriotism and national honor, the idea's only public appearance was in the following bulletin:

"The firm of Thos. W. Ward Ltd. of Sheffield has this day purchased the wreckage of the R-101 and will utilize the metal commercially rather than for the manufacture of souvenirs."
