The Travelers Aid Society of New York (bureau of moral advice and financial aid for bewildered arrivals in Manhattan), for the first time since its was founded (20 years ago) last week announced earnings. A total sum of $1,824.82 had been loaned to embarrassed travelers. Grateful, some had repaid their debt with high interest. The year's earnings therefore amounted to $24.27.
