¶ Listened for one hour while Representative Blanton of Texas strove to clear himself of an allegation in the Washington press that he had been arrested for speeding in his automobile.

¶ Passed a Senate bill raising the pay of Washington park policemen.

¶ Passed a Senate bill to establish a wild life refuge on the Bear River in Utah.

¶ Passed a resolution increasing from $5 to $10 the amount per acre the Department of Agriculture may spend in enlarging game sanctuaries on the upper Mississippi.
