The Zionist Organization of America, whose purpose is to secure the rehabilitation of Palestine by Jews, was jarred last week by the resignation of one of the members of its Administrative and Executive Committee.
This was Dr. Stephen Samuel Wise, Rabbi of the Free Synagogue (Manhattan) and ardent Zionist, who had had a disagreement with British Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization. The cause of the crack was to be found, at least partially, in Dr. Wise's eagerness to hurry the establishment of the Jewish Colony in Palestine as opposed to Dr. Weizmann's desire for less precipitous procedure....
