In large sections of the non-Christian world, suicide was and is often accounted an honorable act. Christianity, which believes that every human life belongs to its Creator, has always regarded suicide as a sin. The so-called Christian world of today, sadly confused on matters of life & death, gives lip-service to Christian belief but takes its hat off and stands to attention before a deed of pagan virtue.
