No Cigar. In Geneva, N.Y., a ten-year-old lad who stopped a New York Central freight train by shooting the fireman with a BB gun admitted to police that he had been in error—he was aiming at the engineer.

The Law. In Tulle, France, a shocked judge fined Albert Fayet 800 francs for throwing his wife out into the street naked —and fined Mme. Fayet 1,000 francs for appearing naked...
