A fortnight ago, Lieut. General Albert C. Wedemeyer returned from his mission to China as factfinder for the U.S. (TIME, Sept. 29). To the State Department he submitted a report of China's political, military and economic situation. On this report, presumably, would be based one of the most important lines of U.S. foreign policywhat to do about China.
