Childish prattle on the air waves last week:

¶ A new program, Quizdown, went on the air in Chicago, written and produced by grammar-school children.

¶ The veteran Quiz Kids (average age: 13) were taken on by mere youngsters—one of them 4 the others 5. Either as entertainers or scholars, the veterans were safe.

¶ One Betsy Edmonds, 3, made a guest appearance on Manhattan's WHN For Women Only program, billed as the world's youngest book reviewer. Her choice to review: Mother Goose and Father Gander.
