Dear to the hearts of advance-guard souls of the late 19205 was the newly discovered beauty of machinery. Last week, readers of the Chicago Tribune art page went their ways refreshed and expectant: Tribune Art Reviewer Eleanor Jewett had breathed deeply, pumped a powerful trumpet call at the corpse of machine esthetics.
