Many U.S. war plants have set up recreation centers for their employes. But the real California touch was applied last week by Rohr Aircraft Corp. (plane parts) at Chula Vista. For its 8,000-odd employes, Rohr took a five-year lease on the swank $250,000 San Diego Country Club, with 158 acres of golf, tennis, Softball, croquet, badminton, horseback-riding, picnicking and bar-rooming. To accommodate all three Rohr shifts, the club will operate 24 hours a day.
