Religion: Holy Days

Communist and Christian diplomats are no respecters of each other's holy days. At the U.N. meeting in The Bronx last month, Soviet Delegate Gromyko proposed that the Security Council meet on Good Friday, was voted down. In Paris last week Soviet Foreign Minister Molotov proposed that the peace conference adjourn for May 1, high point in the Red devotional year. His (Communistically) impious colleagues overruled him.
