The arrival of the first U.S. troops at Atsugi Airdrome was world-wide news last week, and plenty of newsmen were on hand. But they were all Japanese. (U.S. reporters who wanted to go along were entangled in Army red tape on Okinawa.) Result: Japan's Domei news agency scooped the world.
