¶ By Britain's Imperial Chemical Industries: a new synthetic-wool fiber, called Ardil, made from peanuts. Cheaper than sheep's wool, Ardil can be mixed with wool, cotton or rayon, is shrinkproof, mothproof, woolly-warm.
