When sadistic Gestapoman Kurt Rediess suppressed Oslo University last December, sending all male students who could not prove themselves good quislings to German concentration camps, he ruptured upwards of 1,000 homes. Last week some of those homes received their first news of missing sons,: a printed form from Oranienburg, reporting the death of the student, offering to ship the ashes for 75 crowns (prewar, $17).
