A report that Adolf Hitler was hitting the bottle reached London last week. It was only a rumor, like the report that Hitler was ill and could not make speeches.

There was better evidence that tubby, slobbery Dr. Robert Ley, Leader of the Nazi Labor Front, was at it again. Dr. Ley, of whom Germans say "Wenn der Ley spricht, regnet's" (When Ley speaks, it rains), provided the evidence in a broadcast from Berlin, during which he also expressed considerable concern for Adolf Hitler's health.

Ley hiccupped and belched, shouted, muttered, got his sentences...
