Army & Navy - Total War

President Roosevelt last week signed the bill to call 18-and 19-year-old boys into the Army. By Christmas many of the 2,250,000 teen-aged who are not already in the armed forces will be gone from their homes. More than any other wartime action, this decision of the nation meant that the U.S. had determined to fight a total war.
