To the bright lexicon of U.S. slang, Brooklyn-reared Cinemactress Barbara Stanwyck added her two cents' worth. When her director and a pair of writers, working on Ball of Fire, were stymied for a line, she volunteered: "I'll just walk up . . . and say, 'What's buzzin', Cousin?' That's the way we do it in Brooklyn."
