POWER: Great Schism

Hardly more secret than the court fight between the utilities and TVA is the struggle that has gone on for months within the TVA board itself. Its chief contestants are Engineer Arthur Ernest Morgan, for 16 years president at Antioch College, now chairman of TVA's board, and Lawyer David Eli Lilienthal, onetime law associate of Donald Richberg, now a TVA director. Every time one of them has called on the President and emerged smiling, rumor has whispered through Washington that the other was "on his way out."
