Holding his main attack in reserve for his official acceptance speech next week, Republican Nominee Wendell Willkie kept up a running skirmish with his Presidential opponent. As Democratic bolters and independent voters came out for him, Candidate Willkie stood at the head of the receiving line, deftly turning each one's particular strength into a campaign weapon—sometimes by letting a new supporter speak for himself, sometimes by his own welcoming remarks.
