In Milwaukee, Wis., toothless L. M. Crouch stuffed wax in his gums; hardened the wax by holding cold water in his mouth; from this mold made a base of litharge, plaster of Paris and mercurochrome; stuck into it pieces of a porcelain dinner plate; filed the pieces smooth with emery paper and had a serviceable set of false teeth, with which to attend a Boy Scout dinner.
