Business: Koroseal

The Akron chamber of commerce last week staged a "Rubber Ball" to introduce a new synthetic called "koroseal." Developed by The B. F. Goodrich Co. chemists, and compounded from coke, limestone and salt, koroseal is a coating which can be applied to almost all textile materials, will make ordinary fabrics sunproof, waterproof, odorless and washable. Already adopted for women's raincoats, koroseal-treated fabrics can now be used in swimming suits, evening gowns, women's dresses, men's suits.
