<His Majesty King George VI last week opened a new session of Parliament. In his Speech from the Throne in the House of Lords, His Majesty announced, among other things, that he and Queen Elizabeth were "happy to accept" the invitation of President Roosevelt to visit the U. S. during their scheduled trip to Canada next spring.
