Two hours before Congress adjourned, Vice President John Nance Garner around whom eddy little swirls of rumor that he may be conservative Democratic anchor-man in 1940last week took a train home to Texas. But before he left the Capitol he innocently dropped at least two large flies in the New Deal amber.
