On March 1 the chemistry class of Verdun High School, near Montreal, released a hydrogen-filled 5¢ balloon with which they had been experimenting. Last week they received this note from Singapore, Straits Settlements, about 14,000 miles away:
"My wife found your balloon this morning. We saw your address on the note it was torn and I could not write on it. If you sent me money I will send the green balloon to you. It was found near Killiney Road. I am a Chinese old man."
