The Eagle Pencil Company of New York did not know that El Salvador was omitted from a world map which it was including in children's pencil boxes until the United Press called its attention to the protest made by the National Tourist Board of El Salvador to the Salvadorean Minister in Washington. The Eagle Pencil Company regrets this incident which was entirely unintentional on its part.
