¶ For driving 1,400,000 miles without accident or arrest Allen Bush Hill, 55, of Corpus Christi, Tex., was last week awarded a $150 Elgin watch and the title "World's Safest Truck Driver" by the American Trucking Associations.* During the 30 years it took him to establish the record, he averaged 46,600 miles per year, not counting nine months driving with the A.
