In Camden, S. C., a dog chased a rabbit into a hollow log. Few days later dog and rabbit, the latter just out of the former's reach, were removed from the log, both dead from suffocation.


In St. Louis, Mrs. Edith Brockman, member of a waitresses' union, completed her eighth consecutive year of picketing, took a short vacation. At the rate of $1 an hour, she had earned an estimated $9,440.


In Bombay, Sir Temulji Bhicayr Nariman, India's oldest practicing physician, & Lady Nariman planned to celebrate their 85th wedding anniversary....
