In Virginia's primary last week every Representative won renomination except one. He was Representative Colgate Darden of Norfolk, who was beaten by Publisher Norman R. Hamilton of the Portsmouth Star. Virginia's outstanding anti-New Deal Democrat, Senator Carter Glass, also stood for renomination. He won because there was no Democrat in Virginia foolish enough to waste time opposing him.
