Last week Franklin Roosevelt laid his plans for the Republican National Convention. Whether Congress adjourns for good or merely recesses over the convention, the President announced that he would leave Washington the day before the Republicans officially assemble in Cleveland. On the second day of their convention he would be in Little Rock, making a speech on behalf of Arkansas' Senator Joseph T. Robinson, who is up for reelection.
