Out of New York one day last week churned the colossal French Liner Normandie on the second half of her seventh round-trip transatlantic voyage. Four days, one hour later, she churned past Plymouth England, in heavy seas which prevented her from calling at that port but did not prevent her from setting a new record for the crossing, some six hours better than her previous time.
