Animal-story-of-the-week appeared in the sedate New York Times:

"A non-commissioned officer who for the past fortnight has been drilling 30 recruits in a small wood on the outskirts of Addis Ababa, noticed a number of baboons, perched in trees, that seemed to be taking the keenest interest.
