Under the Securities & Exchange Act every U. S. corporation seeking permanent listing on a registered stock exchange must report the salaries of its principal officers, together with the common stock holdings of each in the company. As the deadline for security registration is not until July 1, only a fraction of U. S. industry had, up to last week, taken the cold water plunge and made their reports to Washington.
