Five years ago Triplex Safety Glass Co., Ltd. of Great Britain organized an affiliate in the U. S. Last week the U. S. company planned to sell its patent rights, also most of its assets, to Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Co. for L-O-F stock worth about $170,000 plus $25,000 cash to pay for liquidation, plus an unstated sum for some of the Triplex inventory. The large Triplex plant at Clifton, N. J., will be resold to Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. which will be given manufacturing licenses, will share Triplex's big Ford windshield contract with Libbey-Owens-Ford....
