Young Judge Lester William Roth of Los Angeles, who "used to be a newspaperman myself,"† pleased the newspapermen covering his courtroom by continuing into last week the dispute .about the incipient gigantism of 235-lb., 6-ft., 14-year-old Adolph Roome (TIME, April 6).
