Last week the following were news:

Lester Armour, 35, grandson of Philip Danforth Armour, resigned his directorship and vice-presidency of Armour & Co. Only Armour remaining in the organization is Grandson Philip Danforth Armour III, 36.

Edwin Sibley Webster, co-founder of Stone & Webster, Inc., resigned as president, became vice chairman of the Board. He was succeeded by George O. Muhlfeld, previously vice president.

Hale Holden, chairman of the executive committee of Southern Pacific Co. was elected a director of American Telephone & Telegraph Co.
