Last week the nation learned of a new Cabinet parrot, Polly Doak, pet of scowling William Nuckles Doak, the new Secretary of Labor. Said Mrs. Doak: "She won her way into Mr. Doak's heart. He went shopping for canary seed and Polly, loose in the pet shop, settled on his shoulder and said, 'Pretty boy, I love you so.' "*
