In Moscow the counter-religious magazine Besbozhnik ("The Atheist") faced Easter Sunday last week with a fat register full of boys' and girls' names.
Each name was a pledge by the juvenile signer: "I will fight the observance of Easter in my home."
Each signer was rewarded by Besbozhnik with a red scarf if a girl, with a red necktie if a boy.
