Music: Junior Orchestra

Far more concerned with the development of music in the U. S. was a concert given in Manhattan the night after the Pizzetti-Toscanini celebration. This second concert was by the National High School Orchestra, an organization of 182 boys and girls trained by Joseph E. Maddy at the National High School Orchestra and Band Camp at Interlocken, Mich.
