Chicago schoolchildren are now able to look a gift cow in the mouth, or
any other portion. Last week Mrs. Ruth Hanna McCormick, famed Illinois
Congresswoman, took a pure-bred cow from her farm and presented it to
the Chicago Zoo. Said Director Alfred E. Parker: "It's for the kids who
have never seen one. Thousands . . . have seen a rhinoceros and a
giraffe, but have never seen a cow."
