Of those communities that are urging, through paid magazine advertisements, industries to locate within their corporate limits, Atlanta, Ga., last week was the most jubilant. The Chevrolet Motor Co. had decided to construct a $2,500,000 branch assembly plant in Atlanta;* and Chevrolet President William S. Knudsen had addressed an eminently quotable phrase to the Atlanta Industrial Bureau: "A plant in your city became not only a possibility, but a necessity."
