John Garibaldi Sargent of Vermont, Attorney General, last week bought a house in Cleveland Park, close to his place of employment. It is near Red Top, the house Grover Cleveland used as a summer home. The purchase has, however, something more than sentimental importanceĀ—it means that the Attorney General has no intention of resigning his post, as frequently rumored, as hopefully prophesied by wits whom his rusticity offends.
