National Affairs: From Hawaii

Two dignitaries came into San Francisco last week from Honolulu. One was John Wingate Weeks, Secretary of War until last fall. He left the U. S. soon after a long and nearly, fatal illness, still a sick man. Accompanied by a party which included his wife, his bondhouse partner (Hornblower), his partner's wife, he went to South Africa, thence to Hawaii.
