In the fashionable month of August in fashionable Deauville, a horse called Epinard made his debut, winning the Prix Yacowlef. Since then he has gone from triumph to triumph until today he is talked of as Europe's premier horse. His greatest achievement was capture of the Stewards Cup at Goodwood, England, after which King George sent for M. Pierre Wertheimer, his Parisian owner, to extend personal congratulations.

For many months Epinard has been wanted in America to try his fair legs against Zev, In Memoriam and others. He is coming.
