Science: Perfume

Lilac, oriental bouquet, jasmine, French bouquet, violet, rose. That is the order in which women prefer perfumes, according to tests made on 200 girls of Barnard and Teachers' College by Professor Albert T. Poffenberger, Columbia psychologist. The results were confirmed by more numerous subjects at the 71st Regiment Armory Perfume Show. With men the order was lilac, French bouquet, jasmine, oriental bouquet, rose, violet.
