George W. Wickersham, Attorney General under President Taft, was scheduled to speak in Michigan University's Hill Auditorium, Nov. 2, on the League of Nations. The Board of Regents then remembered that when Arthur Hill gave Michigan the auditorium, he stipulated in the deed that it should never house " a partisan or political discussion."
