Brownings

In Monett, Mo., 200 members of the United Browning Families assembled for a basket supper, quartet singing, a speech by State Legislator Lewis Browning, and discussion of the erection of a Browning Memorial Building. Organized last year, U. B. F. draws most of its members from Browning's Valley, Mo. Best known is Wrestler Jim ("Wrigglin' ") Browning who defeated "Strangler" Lewis in 1933.
