Last month George Herman ("Babe") Ruth resigned from the Boston Braves, calling its owner, Judge Emil Fuchs, a "double-crosser" (TIME, June 10). Last week Judge Fuchs lost another player, Second Baseman Edward Moriarity who had just graduated from Holy Cross College.
