The Vicar Apostolic of the Northern Solomon Islanders, Bishop Thomas Wade, arrived in San Francisco last week with an explanation why cannibals are cannibals. Said he:
"Deprive a native Solomon Islander of vitamins and proteins demanded by nature and he will eat his neighbor. Give him natural food and he will become ashamed of his former flesh eating.
